We organise the programme, coordinate the work on site and make sure each stage is ready before the next one begins. That helps avoid unnecessary delays and protects the quality of the finished garden.

A garden project can involve landscapers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, specialist contractors, suppliers and deliveries. We coordinate the people and practical details around the build, keeping communication clear and giving our clients one main point of contact throughout.

Specialist trades, materials, plant deliveries, machinery and suppliers are coordinated so each part arrives or happens when the site is ready for it.

Quality & Detail
Workmanship, levels, finishes, planting, lighting, irrigation and final details are checked as the project develops, not simply at handover.
When plans meet reality
Experience matters most when the unexpected appears.
Drawings give a project direction, but the ground itself can reveal things that no plan can fully predict. Existing drainage, buried services, tree roots, access limitations, levels and ground conditions can all influence how a detail should be built.
Years of practical construction experience allow us to respond to those conditions on site, discuss the right solution and keep the project moving without losing the intention of the original design.
The aim is not simply to follow a drawing, but to understand what it is trying to achieve and build it properly in the real garden.
Working with garden designers
Turning design intent into a finished garden.
Over many years we have worked alongside a wide range of independent garden designers, interpreting their drawings and specifications while bringing practical construction knowledge to the build. These collaborations have included Claire Garden Design, Vanessa Day Landscape Design, Tim Mackley Garden Design, Ruth Treacher Garden Design, H&G Studio, Melanie Hick Garden Design, VB Garden Design and others.
Each collaboration is different. Sometimes we work directly from a completed design package; on other projects we become involved while details are still being developed and continue working collaboratively with the designer and client throughout construction.

Do I need to be on site while the work is being carried out?+
Not necessarily. As long as we have agreed access to the garden and any practical arrangements in advance, we can manage the day-to-day work while keeping you informed about progress and decisions that need your input.
Can you work with my architect or garden designer?+
Yes. We regularly build from designs prepared by independent professionals and can communicate with the designer, architect or other consultants as practical questions arise during construction.
How are changes during construction handled?+
If site conditions or a client decision require a change, we explain the practical implications and agree any effect on scope, cost or programme before the affected work moves ahead.
Who arranges specialist contractors?+
Where specialist work is required, we can coordinate the relevant trades and their timing with the wider landscaping programme so that their work fits the sequence of the project.
How do payments work on larger projects?+
Payment arrangements are agreed for the individual project and can be structured around the scale and stages of the build. The schedule is set out clearly before construction begins.
