Garden design is where the practical and visual sides of a project begin to come together. We look at how the space is used, how people move through it, the relationship with the house and the existing character of the garden.
Layouts, levels, materials, boundaries, planting and key features are considered as part of one composition rather than as isolated decisions. The aim is to create a garden that feels natural to the property and works comfortably in everyday life.
Because our background is in garden construction, buildability is part of the design process from the start. Access, drainage, structure, material sizes and practical construction details can be considered before they become expensive problems on site.
For clients who already have a designer, we are equally comfortable working from an existing scheme and developing the practical construction details needed to take it into the build stage.

Yes. Garden design can be developed with the construction stage in mind, and we can then coordinate the landscaping work needed to realise the scheme.
Can you work with an existing architect or garden designer?+
Yes. We have long experience working alongside independent garden designers and other professionals, either building directly from their drawings or helping resolve practical construction details.
Do I need a complete design before asking for a price?+
Not always. For an initial conversation, photos, rough measurements and a postcode are enough. For larger or more detailed projects, drawings make it much easier to define scope and prepare accurate pricing.
Can you help make an existing design more buildable?+
Yes. We can review individual details, materials, levels and construction methods and help develop parts of a design where additional practical information is needed before building begins.
